Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife and I stayed at Kalista resort from 28/05/2024 to 30/05/2024 i.e. for 2 nights. Accessing this property from Manali main road can be quite tricky, one that requires driving across metal bridge (over Beas river) and navigating through a series of narrow village roads. As with rest of Manali, these roads also experience heavy traffic through out the day, and as such getting to/from the property can be a very challenging proposition. Once the property is reached though, there is enough parking space to accommodate at least 3-4 cars. The resort provided complimentary breakfast and dinner to drivers accompanying hotel guests, something for which we couldn’t be more grateful. The 3rd floor room we were given was very suave, giving us the feeling of a 4-star hotel. The room had an electric kettle, coffee/tea paraphernalia, bottled water, very comfortable bed and blankets, and the bathroom was modern and squeaky clean. The room’s cozy balcony provided a splendid view of the mountain ranges. The resort also boasts of an in-house veg/non-veg restaurant with a very pricey menu, something we didn’t try. At the time of our visit, the property lacked an elevator, which meant carrying by hand our luggage to/from the 3rd floor, although the hotel staff were more than willing to help in this matter. The check-in and check-out process at the front desk was also very smooth. Overall, for a price tag of 1900 INR per night (booked via Agoda), I found the deal a very good one, especially considering the peak tourist season during late May’24 and also considering the quality of our stay here.
